Briar brings a lens of biopsychology, sexual politics, and interpersonal philosophy to write on the theme of relationship anarchy: the practice of relating to others without relying on presumed cultural norms (especially, but not limited to, monogamy). They have been involved in a variety of non-monogamous intimate relationships since 1999, most of which have been copacetic for most of the time.
